Finally the Apple iPad is here after no less than a few years of speculations. This must amazing device fills the gap between smartphones and laptops. Weighing only 680grams, the Apple iPad comes with a 9.7” capacitive multi-touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. It is powered by an Apple home-brewed A4 CPU, clocking at 1GHz. The iPad comes with Wi-Fi 802.11n support in addition to the standard 802.11b and 802.11g.

The Apple iPad will come with 16, 32, or 64 GB of internal storage with some 3G enabled and will measure only 12.7mm in thickness. It comes with a battery that should be able to last for 10hours of usage or 1 month of standby. The iPad has features same as that of iPod touch, with some extra features such as the iBooks. The iPad is also compatible with all iPhone applications. The pricing of the Apple iPad ranges from $500-$830.
